Hello.

Thanks for checking out Water City Church.

Maybe you’re a bit like me in that when it comes to church.  You’ve “Been there.  Done that.” And it’s left you wondering, “Is this all there is?”

Water City began in 2007 for people looking for something more than busyness and self-help wrapped in spiritual talk.  People who can’t understand why churches started turning down the lights when they started turning up the stage volume.  Water City Church Oshkosh is for people who are tired of politics first and Jesus second or even third.  With so many losing their minds over right and left, we are a church that still believes Jesus meant it when he said, “Blessed are the poor in spirit and the mourners and the ones who are left hungry and thirsty for true life after having seen enough of the angry alpha religious leadership culture.”

Life is messy.

God’s love is calling and there’s a place for you with this bunch of ragamuffins who haven’t given up on the hope of Christ.
